Mohd Rizlan Shah pursued his dream of becoming a lawyer by enrolling himself in the renowned Faculty of Law at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)  under the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam  (JPA) scholarship.

During his time at UiTM, he was elected as the President of Law Society UiTM for the year 2011/2012. He subsequently obtained a Second Class Upper distinction for both his Bachelor of Legal Studies and Bachelor of Law (Hons) in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He further continued his studies in the field of Syariah law under the UiTM’s part-time postgratuate Syariah diploma programme and has since obtained a Diploma Lepasan Syariah & Amalan (DLSA) in 2016.

He then secured a position for his pupillage ar Messrs. Zul Rafique & Partners in November 2014 and was placed in the chambers of Hamdi bin Abdullah in the Corporate Energy & Utilities department.

He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on the 6th of November 2015. He joined Messrs. Sulaiman, Jamellah & Clement in January 2016 as a senior legal associate and subsequently founded MARCO with two other partners  bringing a myriad of knowledge with regard to corporate real estate and his interest in the internal corporate affairs makes him a valuable asset to MARCO.
